Condemned is a medium sized Space Station (ideal for 6-12 players), with a circular map layout. It features a huge zero gravity section towards the middle of the map with a lot of tactical advantages if your team can hold the location. Like the rest of the maps in this DLC package the graphics are stunning, There is an incredible view of Space and Reach below burning. The map also has some cool new scenery items in forge mode, however building materials are few.
Highlands is a large outdoor military base that has an overall shape of a rectangle. Its has small buildings scattered throughout the map and a small river that runs through it. Highlands will satisfy any gamer. It's one of the few maps that has long range, mid range, and close quarter combat. It can house any vehicle Halo Reach has to offer, but most gamers are just happy the default variant has a Falcon. The first thing you will probably notice is the incredible view of the covenant fleet slowly glassing the planet around you. As I mentioned before, the graphics on the new DLC maps are incredible, The water is super realistic and the grass and rocks have texture never before seen on any Halo game. In Forge mode, you will notice some cool new scenery, however, building materials simply do not exist.
Unearthed is a Large Firefight map. The map features a large factory and a warehouse with a warthog (rocket version) inside. The outside of the factory has some smaller structures for cover, but it's mostly open dirt road, ideal for fast aggressive driving. Unearthed has similar terrain to Lost Platoon in Halo ODST but it's roads are more defined. Like the rest of the maps in this DLC, expect to find state of the art graphics with really fun game-play. In conclusion, the map is great! It will provide hours of fun game-play.
